Eng. Mukama Martin (Chief Technical Officer)
Mukama Martin is the Co-Creation Lab Manager at CAMTech Uganda, where he is responsible for helping projects in the Co-Creation Lab to move from ideation to functional prototypes. He has five years of experience in software development and system architecture and holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Engineering from Mbarara University of Science and Technology, where he focused on Data Communication Engineering.
Martin has won several awards for his work in medtech innovation, including two from the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) ICT for National Development and Young ICT Visionaries. He has also worked with a team of software engineers to develop a hospital management system that integrates patient safety and serves over 500 people a day at Kisiizi Hospital in Uganda.
